Mark & I will celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary on August 31st and it causes a person to reflect over these past years and see where we’ve been and how much God has brought us through. Mark has dealt with health issues such as knee surgeries, two strokes, ankle replacement, and now quadruple bypass open-heart surgery. Many people have had much more…this is not a “pity us” moment! Instead, it’s an example of God’s faithfulness through every situation.Here are a few things we are learning:*in our weakness, God’s strength is revealed II Cor. !2:9-10 In a world of self-sufficiency, strength is admired and weakness is disdained. According to Scripture, God shows His strength in awesome ways when we learn to lean on Him. Few of us would ask for experiences that cause us to be weak, but God knows what is best and we are so thankful we have learned through experience that He is trustworthy – His grace (strength) truly is sufficient!
