The curse on Jericho is thought to be shistosomiasis a water parasite that caused infertility and miscarriages among many other things. Recently a snail was discovered that had this disease
II Kings 2:19 shows water problem causing the barren earth if you look into various translations and original meanings. Other translations seem to point to the fact that the water was causing the infertility
